This fabulous and sophisticated Baeckaoffa is a real festive dish! Baeckeoffe is a traditional dish from Alsace. The dish is like a stew with three types of meat, along with potatoes, making up the bulk of the ingredients
- The meat is marinated in Alsatian white wine and spices overnight and then slow-cooked for a long time in between layers of potatoes, carrots, leeks and onions in a ceramic dish
- Preparation: heat in bain-marie (water bath) for 20 minutes (jar opened) or in a saucepan over low heat for 15 minutes. Serve very hot with a salad and a Pinot Noir from Alsace
- Composition: vegetables 58% (potatoes, onions, carrots, leeks), pork (13%), beef (13%), lamb (10%), white wine (4%), spices
- Sizes: 950g jar (serves 2/3) and 1430g jar (serves 3/4 people)
