More Info

1 - Oyster's description
The Ostra Regal oyster is a treasure of nature cultivated for 4 years in a conch, a landlocked bay with a narrow opening to the sea. This characteristic traps phytoplankton and provides the oyster with all the nutrients necessary for its development.
By combining the natural attributes of the bay with our farming skills, we are able to produce a superior quality oyster with an incomparable flavour.
What differentiates the Ostra Regal from other oysters is its fleshy and sweet flesh, offering a blend of textures and flavours, making this product a true delicacy of the sea

2 - Taste
The Ostra Regal Oyster has a delicious and unique flavour. The flesh is plump and firm, offering a pleasant mouthfeel. It has a pronounced salty taste that immediately recalls the salty waters from which it comes.
However, in contrast to this marine flavour, the Ostra Regal Oyster also has an unexpected sweetness, which reveals itself at the end of each bite. It is possible to perceive subtle notes of hazelnut; it is a true explosion of flavour in the mouth. This combination of flavours makes this oyster particularly appreciated and sought after by oyster lovers

3 - Appearance
Ostra Regal Oysters have smooth, round, pearly, teardrop-shaped shells.
The shell is generally yellowish-beige in colour, with iridescent highlights and darker spots.
The pearly shell encloses an oyster with crisp, white muscle, contrasting with the dark edges of the mantle.
The oyster flesh is plump and rather firm, creamy or light gray in colour, and has a pronounced seafood flavour
