Description
The Autumn truffle, also known as the Burgundy truffle, is similar in appearance to the Summer truffle. It has a black skin with a dark brown chocolaty flesh. It is famous and appreciated for its mild and delicate flavour with hazelnut notes
- The Burgundy truffle lends itself to a variety of simple uses. Just enjoy it on a slice of bread with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of fleur de sel, or grate over a salad, fish or meat. Note that the fresh Burgundy truffle doesn’t like heat so grate it over your dishes at the last minute
- Store in the fridge (between 2°C and 5°C) in an airtight container lined with absorbent kitchen paper (to be changed every day). Eat within 7-10 days
- To preserve their freshness, our fresh truffles are shipped in micro-perforated sachets via Chronofresh
- Available from September through January, depending on the weather
- Size: 50g, 100g, 500g
