For 4-5 persons
Preparation time: Less than 15 minutes
Cooking time: 2 hours
- Cut the onion and fry them lightly in olive oil.
- Add the carrot cut into small pieces and fry them for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Then, add at least 1 litre of water together with the green lentils. Cook over low heat. Add salt, pepper, red berries, a little nutmeg, thyme and bay leaves (1 leaf). Cook the sausages with the lentils (not separately) for around ½ hour. Remove them once they have finished cooking and let the lentils cook.
- At the end, add the sausages in the lentils to warm them and add a spoon of mustard.
