Morbier Cheese
A unique cheese with a long tradition, Morbier is an aromatic and surprisingly mild French cow's milk AOC cheese made in Franche-Comté, defined by the dark vein of vegetable ash streaking through it middle. Prestigious AOC status since 2000. Great for special occasions!
- Contrary to what might be discerned from its smell, Morbier has a mild taste and leaves a wonderful nutty aftertaste. It is excellent served with Gewürztraminer or Pinot Noir
- Three gold and one silver medal at the prestigious Concours General de Paris since 2000 and a 2003 Gold medal at the International Mountain Cheese Olympics
